Overview
Jacqueline Natla is one of the main antagonists in the Tomb Raider (Franchise) franchise. Despite not appearing in every game, she has appeared in Tomb Raider (Game) and Tomb Raider: Underworld.
Nalta in Underworld
Despite her human form, Natla is in fact a sort of demon who used to be one of the 3 Gods who ruled the mystical underwater city of Atlantis (Location). The three Gods created the Scion (Object), a powerful artifact that Natla tried to use to create a super race of Atlanteans before being cast away due to her abusing her powers. She was later set free from her mystical prison after US bomb testing in New Mexico (Location) accidentally released her.
After she was released, she founded Nalta Technologies, a massive firm that specializes in computers and top secret research. She used said company to try and find the Scion, even hiring Lara Croft (Character) at one point, but before she could eliminate her, she was foiled by Croft.
