Goro Mihashi is a delinquent who helps out Ryo around the docks in the first Shenmue.

Goro is first encountered at the harbor, where he is seen attempting to rob a fisherman with fellow delinquent Tetsuya Nagashima. Ryo quickly intervenes and easily defeats Goro, who was determined to fight Ryo even after Tetsuya backed off. Later on, Goro reappears with a much friendlier personality towards Ryo, helping him sneak into the New Warehouse #8 (should the player fail to find their own way in), giving him information about the area and the Mad Angels, and even helping him get a job on the docks. When last seen, he informs Ryo that he's finally changed his ways from his delinquent past and plans to marry his girlfriend Mai Sawano. Goro does not appear inShenmue II (Game), but the player does have the option of telling Shenhua Ling about him during the campfire discussion.
