Gomez, better known as the Ore Baron, was the founder and de facto leader of the Old Camp in the Valley of Mines, during the Orc Wars. He would gradually become more and more paranoid as things went sour. Ultimately, he launched an invasion upon the Free Mine and had all his Fire Magicians (except for Milten, he was lucky, because he was outside the camp) executed for treason when they tried to confront him about it.
