Ganconer
An idle fairy of Irish folklore. The Ganconer, whose name roughly translates to "Love-talker", was thought to fraternize among the shepherds and milkmaids of lofty Ireland.

Overview
The Ganconer is a diminutive spirit, akin to the Leprechaun (Concept) or Cluricaun, who dwells in quiet valleys and far off raths. While not as overtly mischievous as other solitary faeries, it is considered a sign of ill fortune to chance upon him. Those who have known poverty after indulging in acts of passion are thought to have met the Ganconer's curse. Though ascribed few notable characteristics, the Ganconer is never without a clay pipe (the Irish "dudeen") planted firmly in it's mouth.
Folklore
Ganconer appears in Folklore (Game) as a half-life and barkeep in charge of the Bridge House Pub by nightfall. Ellen or Keats may take on a number of quests as his associate, many of which deal with the personal quandaries of the pub's ghostly patrons.
