Gabranth is revealed to early on to be none other than Basch's twin brother Noah fon Ronsenburg. He later stands with his brother against Vayne in order to protect his charge Lord Larsa Solidor. After the defeat of Vayne, he is dying and requests that Basch take his place and defend Larsa, stating that he (Larsa) is their only hope.
