Eorlund Gray-Mane is Nord (Concept) blacksmith in the Wind District (Location) in the city of Whiterun (Location). Eorlund is known to be the greatest smith in all of Skyrim (Location) he is also teaches the art of smithing at a Master's level. Adrianne Avenicci (Character), the other blacksmith in Whiterun also mentions that Eorlund is the best Blacksmith in town. He forges all the weapons and armor for the Companions at the famous Skyforge. After joining the Companions and passed their trial then the Dragonborn gets the opportunity to request a special Skyforge weapon of choice to be forged by Eorlund Gray-Mane himself. While working closely with The Companions, he insists he simply tends the Skyforge and is not among their ranks.
Civil war and his brother
Eorlund Gray-Mane as a member of the Gray-Mane family and he is a avid supporter of the Stormcloak rebellion. If the Stormcloaks take over Whiterun, his brother Vignar Gray-Mane becomes Jarl of Whiterun Hold. If the Stormcloaks succeed he will say the following:
