Ellen Madnar is the daughter of the scientist Drago Pettrovich Madnar (Character) and a ballerina of the Bolshoi Ballet in Russia. In the original Metal Gear (Game), she was kidnapped by Outer Heaven forces in order to coerce her father into developing powerful weaponry for them. This in turn led to the construction of the Metal Gear TX-55. Ellen and her father were successfully rescued by Solid Snake (Character). In Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, it is revealed that she returned to Russia and resumed her ballet career, but she has also become a fan of Snake's and as of the game's present in 1999, had yet to be married.
