He ate the logia-type devil fruit, the Suna Suna no Mi (Sand Sand fruit). He once suffered a defeat by Whitebeard and is also acquainted with Emporio Ivankov. His codename in Baroque Works is Mr. 0 and his partner is Miss All Sunday, also known as Nico Robin. He was one of the seven warlords of the sea.
