Buer, famously depicted as a lion's head with legs coming out of it in a circle (for walking in all directions!) is an excellent teacher of philosophy and logic; in addition, he's a great healer and can heal any sickness presented to him. The design of the "chimera" unit in Grim Grimoire is obviously an homage to Buer.
