CHARACTER

To the naked eye, only a pair of giant hands playing a bongo can be seen. To the eye of truth, however, a beast is revealed.

Origins

Bongo Bongo lived in the Bottom of the Well for most of it's life. It is assumed that it was trapped down there by the force of the shadow sage, Impa (Character). However, during Ganondorf's reign over Hyrule (Location), Bongo Bongo escaped from the seal that contained it--it was presumably weakend by Ganon himself. From there, it set fire to Kakariko Village (Location), and took refuge in the Shadow Temple (Location), guarding the Shadow Medallion. What enables Bongo Bongo to reign so freely is the fact that it is invisible to the naked eye. By viewing it with the "eye of truth" Link (Character) (or anyone else, really) can see Bongo Bongo and attack it freely.
