After the death of Judo, Begina is entrusted to lead the Norius Mercenaries through their subsequent battles. Judo's death has left the former band of mercenaries fractured, so his first order of business is rebuilding the team, along with his partner Diaz. To quote the Atlus website, "The son of farmers, he had a fairly nondescript upbringing. This probably fueled his longing for the excitement of heroes and knights. When the Neverland War broke out, he decided to become a mercenary and become a member of the Norius Mercenaries."
