The Bear is 1 of 4 souls available to collect in the 2nd Chapter of Wytchwood (after First Thing's First). He resides in the Lakeshore Camp on the central-west side of the Forest map. Some crafting materials necessary to complete this quest involve venturing out into the Swamp and Fields.

Three non-respawning Gold Coins on the floor of the Wishing Well at the start of the game.
- * Leave the Lakeshore Camp and enter the Wishing Well in the Forest
- Upon first entering the well, there are (x3) gold coins lying on the floor. These do not respawn for the rest of the game.
- Additionally, Gold Coins have a random chance of appearing in <ins>Clay Deposits</ins> in the Forest and Wishing Well maps.
- Return to the Lakeshore Path
- Speak with Dongus and Dingus.
- Upon the dialogue prompt, give them the (x3) Gold Coins
- Once again, receive quest, "Find the Sergeant of the Lakeshore Camp"
