One of the Brigand Kings in Puzzle Pirates. Barnabas is a ghost with the appearance of a traditional pirate captain.

Overview
Barnabas the Pale is one the original Brigand Kings, introduced to the game in April 2006. On English oceans he is captain of the crew Eldritch Abyss and king of the flag Chthonic Horde. On the Opal Ocean he is called Barnabas der Blasse, is captain of the crew Abyssische Geister and is king of the flag Chthonische Horden. On the Jade Ocean he is called Barnabás el Pálido, is captain of the crew Abismo Eldritch and is king of the flag Horda Chthonic. Barnabas' crew is comprised of blue skeletons with glowing blue eyes. His symbol is a skull. He can only be fought in a swordfight and when fighting Barnabas in a swordfight the player will notice that the puzzle has a different background than usual. Upon defeating him the victors will receive one of four trinkets: a Cursed Idol, some Ectoplasm, a Music Box of Lamentations or a Will o' Wisp.
Trivia
- Upon his defeat Barnabas sometimes mentions how he may have his peace and "see her lovely face again", suggesting that he may have had a lover who passed away.
