Arne Magnusson

One of the few survivors of Black Mesa, Magnusson worked on a rocket in Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

Dr. Magnusson is smart, and he knows it! He is pompous, impatient and stubborn, always barking out orders. He worked at Black Mesa with Dr. Vance, Dr. Kleiner and Dr. Freeman. He is first seen in Half-Life 2: Episode 2 but his microwave casserole can be seen (and blown up) in the original Half-Life - after teaching Gordon how to use the Magnusson device, Arne tells him if he can beat the Striders he might just forgive him for "that debacle at Black Mesa... you know the one I mean... involving a certain microwave casserole."
