Angelo is a dog owned by Rinoa Heartilly (Character) in Final Fantasy VIII (Game). Like the other characters in the game, Angelo's default name can be changed to the player's preference. Despite the dog's masculine name, however, Angelo is in fact a female.
In combat, Rinoa is assisted by Angelo in her Limit Breaks. Issues of Pet Pals magazine that are scattered about the world allow the player to teach Angelo new Limit Break techniques.
