Story
Al'akir the Windlord is one of the four elemental lords, servants of the Old Gods. Alongside the lords of fire (Ragnaros), water (Neptulon) and earth (Therazane) Al'akir led the Old Gods' armies against the Titans. Eventually the elemental lords were defeated by the Titans and chained below the earth, without the Old Gods' power to sustain them the elemental lords were banished to the elemental plane.
World of Warcraft
In the cataclysm expansion Al'akir was the final boss of the Skywall raid instance, protected by his Conclave of Wind.
