I took a shot at "You Do Something to Me" By Chet Atkins off the album "Almost Alone". Fun fact, Chet named the album as such because almost the entire album was recorded solo by himself, and, I suspect it all took place in a log cabin deep in the woods. It is without a doubt my favourite album of his, I'd suggest those who know him for his other work give it a listen as it's really its own entity and significantly less campy than a lot of his usual stuff.

This is my first time ever recording myself. It's odd, but I sound different than I thought I did. It's like hearing your recorded voice for the first time, completely different than I thought I sounded. I suppose it's all a matter of perspective. I actually recorded this all on the Eye camera, so forgive me if it's a little "inconsistent". Still, it sounds pretty damn good despite being recorded on a webcam, stereo sound too.

As for the track itself... Well... Let's just say I'm a tiny bit out of my depth with this song. I thought I was fairly competent with this song, but recording yourself really shows how many mistakes you're making. Plus, my horrible editing really isn't helping matters. I'm hoping the novelty of hearing a real guitar on soundcloud will cancel out the fact that it's rather poorly played real guitar.

The starting is alright though. Actually, just listen to the first 30 seconds, okay?
