Speakers and the Enjoyment of Them (and you) (??) ? <3

If you frequent the GB IRC then you're most likely aware (read: annoyed) that I purchased a new speaker set for my computer, specifically these swan M10. I had been looking for new speakers for quite a while and once I found these I decided it's time to kick indecisiveness to the curb and plunge into the point of no return. The M10 has a very clean look and I have been drowning in the delicious blue LED around the volume knob since I got them in the mail Saturday. Now, this is the first higher end set (in terms of PC speakers) I have ever purchased so I don't have a good yardstick in terms of comparative quality. However, I will say that everything I've listened to so far has had a clear and crisp sound with ample bass. Fuck I'll just say it flat out, there are musical erections abound as I listen.
Tonight has been filled with DJ Shadow's Endtroducing...Deluxe Edition, which is one of my favorites and I'm now hearing sounds in the production I didn't even know existed prior to this upgrade. I bought these primarily for music and they have not disappointed me yet, god damn they're sexy.

The picture ain't as fancy, but trust me the speaks is! (Also listening to DJ Shadow) So this seems like a blog of a happy camper, satisfied with their new toy. It is but there's more to it I swears!
I want to know from those of you reading, of either speaker experiences of your own, or just any time where you decided to make a significant upgrade and what it did for you. Whether it be electronics, a vehicle, or man even from plastic to metal utensils. Maybe even the first time you went for the cloth napkin just 'cause, I wanna hear it! Let us recount and rejoice the times where we've decided to enjoy a bit of luxury, in our eyes anyhow.
