All articlesMy Favorite Game Experiences of 2017!
Jan 1, 2018
I'll keep the intro quick, 2017 flew by and I didn't get to nearly all the games I expected at the start of the year based on what I was tracking. I also bought a PS4 and Switch this year, which seems like ages ago. I feel bad for the PS4 because the Switch is one of the best things ever and I vastly prefer playing things on it. With that said, here's a look at a bunch of notables that I didn't...
My Favorite Game Experiences of 2016
Jan 1, 2017
Hello hello! 2016 was quite eventful for me personally, and games were a big part of it. Thankfully it was a fantastic year to be playing video games. I even participated in a Backlog Blitz to try to get to more games, but sadly only ended up cutting into it by 3 total. As always I'll preface this list by stating these are the games that I had my favorite gaming memories of the year with. There...
My Favorite Games I Played in 2015
Dec 31, 2015
Looking at my list from last year , there's a stark contrast in the scope of what I played. Many games were delayed to this year, and I just didn't play that many big releases as a result. 2015 happily met expectations as a banner year in games. Last year I felt I was just waiting. This year, I still have a plethora of games I'm hoping to get to more in 2016. That list includes Rebel Galaxy, Su...
A Strange "Favorite Games of 2014" List
Jan 15, 2015
This is quite belated now, but 2015 has been busy so far for me and I wanted to make sure I knew what I wanted to write in this post. The highlight of last year was my first time visiting the east coast. I planned my trip to coincide with PAX East in Boston and headed south to NYC afterwards. After living my entire life in California and hearing all sorts of stereotypes of what the east coast i...
Knifey's Best Games Played in 2013 (sort of)
Jan 4, 2014
2013 was the biggest roller-coaster ride of any other year for me so far with some of the highest highs and lowest lows. But! That's not what this blog entry is for, no! This is to reflect on the highlights of my favorite hobby for the year. It took me longer to create than anticipated, hence the tardy postdate but to heck with that! Here are some of the reasons why that is. (note: I didn't get...
I got Torqued
Feb 23, 2013
I mean dumb. After hearing the bombcrew talk about this movie from 2004, I had to rent it for myself as I'd never been exposed to the creation, "from the same producer as The Fast & Furious and XXX." I mention the year as this piece of cinema history places itself in time quite well. The appearance of Dane Cook and Nickelback playing at the happy ride off into the sunset in particular. I'll be...
