Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight, I am your host as always! This week is just jam packed with gaming events! We have The International for Dota fans, EVO for fighting game fans, and even California Extreme for the classically minded gamer. All of which have user created discussion and even summary threads that can be found in the Spotlight below. In terms of housekeeping @edgework is wondering if adding more fields to the site API would break anything for users of the API. Finally those wondering the staff and moderators are still working on that new rule-set that we alluded to last week, however we still do not have an ETA. With that let's put down the pepper grinder and get on with the latest edition of the Community Spotlight!

Speaking of nice improvements a one "@johnnyv" has updated our John Vignocchi without plagiarizing or advertising. Finally, people seem to filling in Dan Ryckert's wiki page with random facts he has said on various Quick Looks and Bombcasts. For those wondering Dan did mo-cap work for Team Bondi for L.A. Noire.

thatpinguino graces us twice this week with his first blog concluding his retrospective on Final Fantasy's use of family and loss, and his second blog provides a continuation of his Deep Look video series with an introspective look at the use of architecture in Bioshock. Hailinel tried his darnedest to breakdown the insanity and "Persona-ness" of Mind Zero. Video_Game_King complemented his tempered disappointment with Metal Gear Solid 4 with the emotional tragedy of To the Moon this week. Mento continues his Let's Play of Mission Critical, and similarly CottoneUD shares his progress with his Persona 4 Golden playthrough. Draugen extrapolates on how he "accidentally" became an evil ruler in Divinity: Dragon Commander, and midnightgreen20 attempted to provide a balanced retrospective on the legacy of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. granderojo details his experiences with the Next Car Game alpha and what he hopes the final product looks like. MooseyMcMan shot a bunch of Nazis in the face while he also spelunked caves with Wolfenstein: The New Order and PixelJunk Shooter. FinalDasa provides a comprehensive outlook on the big movies coming out in July. MEATBALL joins @rorie in his defense of Dead Space 3 as an honorable entry in the Dead Space franchise, whereas teleri equivocates his discontent with EgoRaptor's latest video series, Sequelitis. Skrunch decided to give Dota 2 a shot in light of The International and shares his perspective of the game as a dedicated League of Legends player. Finally SgtSpynx has a touching story in regards to his recent booting up his SNES, and stcheatum explains how applying to Giant Bomb has improved his odds in the job market and made him a stronger person.
