Here, I'll do a quick rundown of my thoughts regarding the different games/hardware shown this year: Metal Gear Solid: Rising (360/PS3) That cutting mechanic is so excessive...it's awesome ! I think that the game is probably going to become God of War -like, in gameplay, which I hope doesn't happen. I don't really want to lose the stealth, but otherwise, I'm feeling good about where this off-sh...

Maybe I'll remember to post here more often? What's up with my Giantbomb friends, anyhow? I've been obsessing over a number of games lately, though mostly over the Boktai series. It got so bad at one point that I overhauled the Django and Boktai 3 pages. I'll get around to everything else eventually, because goddammit! The pages so far are shit ! Other games I've been playing include: Battlefie...

"I've seen a lot of horrible things, and imagined many more. Every time, I'm the guilty party. Is it coincidence, or is there a reason? What don't I know?" Cyrus woke up with a start, every sense on alert, just like many other mornings. He glanced at his clock, and decided it was time to get up. With the grace of a tiger, Cyrus slid out of bed, eyes darting around. Nothing. Why do I keep feelin...

Hey y'all, it's about time for a new blog, eh? Thought so. Godofnerdyness started doing this two weeks ago, but I've been too busy actually playing my games, to write about them...until now. So here we go, week 1 of "What I'm Playing": special summer feature (might go past summer). inFamous 9/10 Oh yeah, inFamous, baby! I love this game! The set-up is that you are Cole McGrath, New York messeng...

The entirety of the following tale details the ambitions of one on a path, never meant to be taken. This may seem to be a conflict between the forces of Law and Order, but what it truly is, is a clash between fantastic delusions and realistic notions. This tale is the battle between a man of prosperity, and the one who would forsake their own purpose, and cast aside the very notion that life ca...

Title Track: Breaking Inside - Shinedown These songs relate to the chapter, and just generally set the mood. You don't have to listen, obviously, but I find that it makes the experience better. Plus, don't you guys wanna know what I listen to, and possibly find more music you like? PROLOGUE August 13, 2008 3:18 PM “I’ve been…afraid…afraid of what I’m becoming—what I see …” A boy explained, lyin...

That's very not fun. Dad's calling up Micrsoft tomorrow, and seeing about getting it shipped out soon. Graphics processor crapped out on me, if you're curious.

Raise your hands! Alternatively, would you like to listen to an audio-book version of The Archangel Legacy? Raise your hands! Remember to specify if you raise your hand. On a completely different note, who saw this week's House? I recorded it, as I don't get home from kung-fu in time to watch it, and it turns out that the recording stopped before it finished T_T I saw up to where the sick guy d...

About a week and a half ago (or whenever the GB story about the NXE beta went up), I signed up on the Microsoft site for the NXE beta. I was supposed to get an e-mail if I got in, a couple days later. I didn't, and gave up hope. Now, today, after I had given up all hope, I came home and decided to check my e-mail. Sitting in the inbox, was a message from Microsoft saying that I'm now in the bet...

Any show with a drugged up, sarcastic doctor who's awesome is a great show in my books. Oh, and it's a medical dramady (drama-comedy hybrid). Check out these links for some of good moments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKkCNxRoEw8&NR=1 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8-Y9pz14aU&NR=1 and finally http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N42nhLeK33o&feature=related

I can't feel my god damned arm! In kung-fu class, tonight, we were practicing knife defense. Coincidentally , Master Terlecki bought some wooden practice knives, and we got to use them...yay. Seriously though, I like knife defense. There's lots of arm breaking, a few sweeps, and one move where you grab the stabber's arm, twist and pull the guy to the ground, and twist his arm in such a way that...

WOOT! For those that don't know, the special edition includes an addition to the game manual that holds some art by character designer Kosuke Fujishima, a 10th anniversary soundtrack containing music from a few different games, and it comes in a sweet metal case with special cover art. Also, there's a code for some extra bonus on the Tales website, but it isn't up yet, appearently. Weak. Anyway...

I spent an hour and a half looking for Tales of Vesperia today, with no luck. However, I did pick up a 1400 points card, and I used it to buy Castle Crashers. Holy crap, that game's awesome. Maybe it's just my love of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (for the SNES) that makes all Beat 'em-ups awesome to me. Do yourself a favour, and at least try the demo. Btw, if anyone wants to re...

Please read the last line of the blurb in the shuriken page and tell me I'm not crazy. Here's the quote: "A Japanese, bad ass weapon. Most commonly used for throwing by bad ass ninjas. Their stealth make them perfect assasination weapons used only by the most skilled of samauri ." I underlined the line, and bolded the phrase. The shuriken page is one of the most popular, how did this go unheede...

Star Wars is awesome again. If you have a 360 or PS3 get onto the network and download the Force Unleashed demo, now! It's awesome! I'll blog more on it later, when I'm not busy playing it or Mana Khemia. In other news, I have $80 which I'm using to buy Tales of Vesperia and a points card (Castle Crashers!) next week.

Why the hell was the Roundhouse page's info be written by a Chuck Norris fanboy without knowledge of martial arts before I edited it? It's irritating, how it was. Oh well, at least it's nice now, go check it out to see what my 5 years studying under Grand Master R. Terlecki have brought to my fighting knowledge ( www.kungfubc.com is my school's website, check it out). Also, I've been playing a...

--Note I was also too lazy to edit out the bits about The Archangel Legacy (TAL), and why I haven't finished the latest chapter yet-- So yeah, TAL's probably going to end up being only 3 chapters until conclusion, and thus, I have a blog to fill. In Persona news, I've gotten to the floor 36 boss, and I hate it so much. It's the angel/statue thing, and it has no weaknesses >_ I've also been play...

Seriously! I'm in one of my JRPG and Platformer-craving moods, so hit me. I'd prefer 2D platformers, and anything 's good. SNES, PS, PS2, Wii, GC, DS, anything . Oh, and JRPG recommendations too. Riht now, I'm hunting down my copy of FF9 ('cause it's my favorite). Oh, and I have every Megaman title, and every Mario title. Otherwise, go nuts!

Well? Me personally, I'm focusing on finishing my story (so close!) before I get to work, but when I do, I'll be working on the .hack pages, and probably the Megaman Star Force pages. I'll probably work on the Boktai pages too. Of course, I haven't checked any of these pages in a while, so maybe they're all filled out (though I doubt it for the .hack and Boktai pages). I have the blurbs for .ha...

So...yeah, I'll finally see what all the hype is about. Chances are, it'll be awesome, but 60% of JRPG's dont click with me for whatever reason (pace of battles is usually the culprit). Anyway, who's got a 360 and CoD4? If you do, I'd like it if you could send me your gamertag so we could play, seeing as how I'm getting back into it after playing BF: Bad Company, and my friends either don't lik...

“Two hours...” Subaru muttered as he waved to Zack from his doorway. “Can’t believe he stayed for two hours. He’s the one who said ‘stay home and get some rest’...” He trailed off, into some incomprehensible babbling. Head hung low, and eyes on his feet, Subaru walked towards his room to get some shuteye. Golden light tickled Subaru’s peripheral vision, but he took it only as a sign of how tire...

Hey y'all! I'm Vasta_Narada! I still use Gamespot a bit (primarily just for blogs), so if you still use that, add me as soldjango. Anyway, as for Giant Bomb, the site, I think it's doing pretty good. I can't get videos to work though, and it's really starting to annoy me. It's only Giant Bomb's videos too! Gah! Let's see, I'll probably work on some The World Ends With You and Pikmin related pag...
