I bought a new HDTV about 2-3 weeks ago. It's not really all that big at 32" but I'm happy with it nevertheless. It's an LG 32lg30 at 720p. I was looking at a Sony Bravia as well but that was 200 bucks more, and I'm perfectly satisfied with this one. It actually has a lot of features that you'd only get with the more expensive television sets: plenty of connectors and a shitload of options. I really love that each input can have 7 distinct profiles for sound and visual settings. It's kinda overkill since I can't think of any situation where I would need 7 different profiles for an input.
You can check the TV out here. I don't really agree with the review and the score they gave it, but it does show off the TV nicely.
