Welcome to Bad CompanyIn Battlefield:Bad Company your set in a four man group of people that are not exactly"Perfect", your in a group called the B-Company, better known as Bad Company.The four characters are Sweetwater (put in B-Company for uploading a virus on the military secure network),Private Preston Marlowe,aka the player(who was put in B-Company for taking a joy-ride in one of his installation's helicopters, damaging the helicopter and a general's limousine),Haggard(Placed in B-Company for blowing up a weapons cache, mainly cause he"Just likes it when things blow up"), and there's the Sarge, who really just volunteered for the job to get out of the war quicker.Battlefield is a great game despite that it has some flaws, like every other game in the world.But the big thing is blowing **** up!You see a building and you want a hole in the side of that thing, shoot a grenade and there's your damn hole!Well right now I just want to talk about the campaign.You play in seven pretty tough and long missions, the game has a nice campaign length and doesn't really fail at all on the singleplayer like certain other war games(I'm looking at you Call of Duty 3!)Throughout the single player there is gold bars(Which, like other things, Haggard loves) and collectible weapons.The weapons are great in certain ways but are kinda bad in others.I hate that you have to switch to a knife to do a CQC kill.I mean, why can't you just hit them with your rifle butt?But other than that the weapons are great.They sound amazing and no two guns look alike.But what are weapons used for?Combat, of course!And boy is the combat good.Some of the best combat I've ever saw in a game.You can hear the weapons echoing around you and the intensity just increases by the second.I sadly can't say the same for the driving mechanics.OK to get a little OT real quick, on the 9-2-08 edition of the Giant Bombcast they was talking about Mercs 2's controls and they Vinny(I think)brought up the fact that you use A and X(360 version)to drive and Ryan(Again, I think)says(Really!?!?Who does that?!?!)well Ryan, this game does.A game you gave a 5 star rating.Well back to the point.The driving mechanics are pretty bad.My car was frequently blowing up because I had to leave my fixing tool to pick up C4 or a Rocket Launcher.Also it uses X and square(PS3The epic battle between Sweetwater and Haggard!Let's watch! version)to drive, I mean who does that?!?!Now back to some good thing's about Battlefield, and man there is a lot of them.From amazing graphics to huge ass holes in the wall this game is damn fun!
Singleplayer:5 stars



Multiplayer:This multiplayer, at launch wasn't amazing because of the only one game-mode thing, but since they patched it with Conquest mode the online has gotten a lot better, although I'd really like to have more game modes.I mean come on at least they could get me some Deathmatch!With this amazing combat Team Deathmatch/Deathmatch would keep me playing for a long time.The multiplayer is relatively lag free and still very fun despite the very few game modes.
Multiplayer:3 and a half stars


Re-Play value:Battlefield isn't exactly loaded with re-play value but still has enough to keep you playing for about two weeks.Now only if they would've added more multiplayer modes!The story isn't bad but not amazing so I doubt you'll want to go through it again.

That's a big hole!End It!Battlefield: Bad Company is a really good game that could've easily have been much better if they made the multiplayer a little better.All-in-all though this game is great, it's a definite buy
