5. F.E.A.R. 2 Yes, F.E.A.R 2 , although typing the title is a pain in the ass, the game is a breeze. Not a bad breeze but a good breeze, like a breeze of fresh air and you want to suck it down your throat. Although I recommend not sucking on F.E.A.R. 2. I went into F.E.A.R. 2, hating the first so I wasn’t really expecting too much but I got a game that was surprisingly good and surprisingly fun...

I went into F.E.A.R. 2, hating the first so I wasn’t really expecting too much but I got a game that was surprisingly good and surprisingly fun. The weapons were the real key factor, they’re all varied. From a crazy nail gun, flamethrower, electric gun, I could continue on with all these ridiculous weapons that let you murder your foes in all kinds of fun ways. The story wasn’t anything great, it had its creepy moments but in the end it (the story) was all just meh with a weird, disturbing cliffhanger at the end.
4. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand
Blood on the Sand is a game that may have been a little frustrating at points but you look back at it and you see that 50 and his crew actually made a fun, crazy, and enjoyable game. Also supplying us with great lines like “I’ll kill your whole fucking generation, mother fucker” and of course, “Yo Fiddy, jump over that big ass ramp!”
Review.3. Street Fighter IV
The weird thing is, next year or two years from now, this will be the game I’ll still be playing, not all these others so you’d expect this to be higher but, it’s not. Don’t get me wrong this game is excellent with its great fighting, fun modes and good online. It’s all that damn Ken’s fault!
Review.2. Resident Evil 5
When the demo was released, loads and loads of people played it, including me, and loads and loads of people hated it, including me. So I picked this up being pretty skeptical but after the first chapter I knew this was exactly what I was hoping for when Resident Evil 5 was announced.
The story is decent. Nothing really special, they kind of just poo poo some characters like they didn’t matter and there is a very predictable twist in the story. The thing that saves this is the gameplay it’s just fun. Great, crazy, frantic, whatever word you want to use to describe this game is probably rite in some way. The controls had its annoying points but it was something you get over quickly and really becomes a non-issue. The game looks like Brad Shoemakers beard, amazing. Mind blowing! Almost as mind blowing as…
1. Killzone 2
Everybody knows the normal ol’ E3 trailer/Killzone story but I’m going to tell you about a different story, one about a young man named Sev who rode his tiger through the might forest to reach the corpse of his dead wife and then found out she was dead.
Anyways, this game…what more to say than fantastic. The graphics are spectacular, just beautiful, one of the greatest games I’ve ever saw. The story was really just a soldier story with beefed up dudes saying your momma jokes. The dialogue sucks and the story isn’t great but…pretty much every single thing besides that is amazing. The satisfaction you get after shooting a Helghasts helmet off and succeeding at a headshot is great.
So far, this year has actually been pretty good. Some fun
games and from the looks of this imaginary calendar I have here with me, it’s
only going to get better. C’mon, though I’ve got to throw out some
Honorable Mentions!
