Ever since I played it in 2004, I wanted another Bond game like Everything Or Nothing. For someone to expand on that game and its ideas. I’ve gone back and forth on this rating, much like I went back and forth about how I felt during the game. At times I was certain it was a 3-star game, but then a story moment would hit for me and I’d bump it up a notch. Wolverine is a mess. Maybe we’ll never know what happened during the dev cycle, but from the outside it feels like a shift happened part way in. The story just seems to jump forward at times, levels…
I couldn’t find my NES, so I impulse bought one off Facebook in a fit of anger. This was one of the games that came with it. It’s got some ideas, and the vibes are great. Just not much fun to play.
It’s not COVID, and we have a kid now. So this didn’t hit quite as hard, but it’s still really great. After a couple of the DLCs come out I’ll probably go back.
Just doesn’t have the juice unfortunately. There is some great art, and some fun ideas, but it’s clunky and the boring design doesn’t make it much fun to play.
An awesome collection, and Tetris Time Warp is a pretty good new addition to the canon. Unfortunately it’s missing several notable versions of the game because I’m sure Nintendo didn’t want to play ball. Just imagine a version of this collection if they did.
