This game is incredibly okay. It does some very clever things with its time powers, specifically with how they can integrate with combat. The puzzles I could leave or leave.

There's some cool stuff in Timeshift, even though I didn't enjoy playing it very much. The game's weapons aren't fun to shoot and the movement is clunky. In a lot of ways it's a lame Half Life 2 ripoff with a looser grasp of the fundamentals that make such games work. Often it fails to tell you what to do, and I sometimes found myself stumbling into a instant-kill traps.

One point of contention is that... well it's a Half Life 2 ripoff right? So you are surrounded by ally npcs who are resistance fighters whatever. In HL2 everyone is like "Wow! Gordon Freeman! You're great! Way to go!" But in Timeshift everyone is just an asshole to you. You're a timesuit man single-handedly freeing them from an oppressive time regime and they come on the radio every 5 seconds remind you of the objective by going, "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO FLIP THE SWITCH TO THE CARGO BAY! WHATS THE HOLD UP?!" Like first of all, we ain't friends, and second of all, if someone sticks me with a sticky grenade I can press a button to rewind time to before the grenade was thrown and walk behind the guy who threw the grenade and punch him in the back of the head. So, consider that.

I also wish you had more timejuice and it recharged faster. There is a lot of downtime just waiting for that thing and you don't get enough mileage out of it when you can. Your gimmick is actually cool, let me use it please.
