Interesting ideas, but do any of them actually work?

I got this game about 2 years ago thinking it will be awesome, then at one point the game froze, it didn't auto save anywhere near where i was and had to do a good 4 hours again. I got to my car, drove to GameStop, and sold it. Well about a week ago i decided i should go back and actually finish the game, and i did, wasn't worth the 3 bucks i paid.
Alright, this game is a survival horror game, where you play as Edward Carnby who has amnesia due to some ritual that probably went by, i don't remember the full explanation for that. He finds out that he must protect a stone and stop "the light bringer" from coming to Earth. well, sounds kinda cool, but playing through to get to the end is just a pain. You start off in an apartment with crazy stuff going on and you must escape. You are in a room that you must constantly blink your eyes because they keep going blurry, by the way, that never happens again for the rest of the game. Well, you then get attacked and you gotta escape the place. this is where the game gets bad.
You get to chose between first and third-person, which isn't bad, too bad the game will put you to third person automatically about every 10 minutes because the game wants to show you something. The only time you should be in third is if you don't gotta shoot something. The shooting in this game is like resident evil, you cant move. But when you try to shoot people, there is an auto aim that kicks in when something gets kinda close to the ridicule but will just stop working constantly. And the only way to anything, is with fire. This is where the inventory comes in.
You get to hold several things on each side, however i find it funny how his jacket just happens to be able to do this, but hey, its a video game. You get to hold liquor bottles which can make flaming bullets. How do you do this? By combining it with bullets? nope, with the gun, so every time you reload, you gotta do it again, and again. And when you run out, you pretty much can't kill anything till you find more.
Now on to driving, you get to chose from many cars that handle worse than any game i have ever played. you hit ANYTHING, the car will stop, and parts will go flying in many directions and is just odd. And the first driving section in the game has probably the more bugs than every xbox game combined. When you get to the end of that, you are at central park, which is where the game takes place. now this section would be way better if there weren't any driving. You must drive to each destination, avoiding the "Humanz", which are everywhere and can magically jump on your car as your going 60 mph. Now as you keep playing, there will be some easy bosses, simple puzzles, and so on since its a survival horror game. Well when you get to the final 2 hours, the game just gets ridiculous.
There are some very simple puzzles, which i wish the whole game was just puzzles instead of shooting. then you get the the driving stage, again. you are timed to get to the end with stuff flying through the ground, no sense of direction, and so on. Then you get to the final room, have no boss, choose either the good ending or the bad, i recommend the bad, WAY better, and that's it. Not worth my time to see that game through.
Now the voice acting is just bad, cursing thrown in for no reason and no enthusiasm in there job whatsoever. The best voice acting in this game was toward the very end when you meet some major person "not gonna spoil it" and he is here for about 10 minutes, and he was great. And then the graphics of this game where just not pleasing to the eye. i know this is an old game, but still, just awful.
So i give this game 2 stars out of 5. only got that extra star because it is cheap and beatable.
