Everyone is going nuts about this game and I have no idea why. After playing it I thought to myself, what is all the fuss. I will more than likely be dismissed by those who loved this game as a phlistine for not appreciating the game as art or some other reason. Here's the thing though, you are looking for a game as art and finding it here but missing something entirely. While this is a beautiful game it is actually pretty boring. All this talk about the 'journey' doesn't wash with me, it's fatuous as I don't see a deep and meaningful story told without words, what I see is the description of LOTR by Randall in Mallrats 2
This is what this game is about, walking. As good as this game looks it's no work of art, it's no fun it's a vain fancy load of walking with a nice soundtrack.
