Review: Mothership Zeta

Okay, so I just finished playing through Mothership Zeta, the new DLC quest add-on for Fallout 3. Simply put: it's good. There are a lot of new things to see and do. The alien weapons are powerful and fun to use and the Main Quest of KICKING ALIEN ASS has many interesting characters, one of which is a totally hilarious samurai.

My only gripe is that it felt like there wasn't much to do, but for the sake of stretching out the play time, they made the mothership a fucking LABYRINTH and I constantly found myself wandering around too much as well as spending an unnecessary amount of time fighting annoying enemies. I bet if you trimmed off all the fluff and excess gayness of being raped by seemingly endless waves of little BASTARD aliens, you could easily beat it in an hour. But since they put all that extra crap in there, it stretches itself into the 3-hour range.

If you are a fan of Fallout 3, this is easily worth 800msp. It's a good way for Bethesda to wrap up their total DLC package, though Point Lookout is still my favorite.
