Left 4 Dead is a first-person shooter from the guys that made the Half-Life and Half-Life 2 series. The game has 4 levels with each containing 5 sub-levels. The guns in the games are very limited, you get a SMG, Shotgun, Auto-Shotgun, Sniper-rifle, and last an Assault-rifle. Control's for the game feel a bit weird at first, but you'll get used to them. You shoot with the RT and use melee with the LT, this means no aiming down sight besides the Sniper-rifle. This isn't bad but really annoying, also you do a 180 spin with RB and crouch with LB. With the game is running off the source engine and the game looks decent but nothing amazing, I've played the PC demo and that looks good. In the audio department the game does much better. The game's sound effect and score is great, the music kicks in at just the right time. If your looking for a good weekend game you've found it, but if your looking for a game that will last you a while there are better first-person shooters out there maybe you should pick up Call of Duty 4 or Call of Duty: World at War. If it's the zombie theme that gots your eye then wait 'till the second or 'till Dead Rising 2.

Lasting Appeal: 
The game is fun while it last, but boring as hell after beating it.

Sound: 
The sound effects and musical score is awesome, they give the game a very ghostly feel which is great.

Story: 
There isn't a story in Left 4 Dead.

Graphics: 
Besides the lighting the games graphic feel old like we've seen it before. Valve soon reconsider the source engine next, it'd be cool to see and new engine.

Gameplay: 
The game is great, although feeling limited at time. There are only 5 weapons not including the duel-pistols.

It's a great game for the time it last. It's a great weekend game, but not much more after that. Rent it and if you like it buy it.
