Fallout 3 is most likely the best Western RPG ever. I loved the original two Fallout and with Fallout switching developers I was a bit afraid that the game would be too different but putting my fears aside and picked it up. I have both the 360 and PC versions. PC for the mods and 360 for the DLC, Which I'll be reviewing soon. Fallout 3 can last you more then 100 hours, more even if you just walk around doing nothing. I won't go into the main story too much. The main quest is about you finding your run away father and this go crazy from there, it will last you about 25 of so hours. I was surprised at how short the main quest was,  maybe because I was more devoted to playing the game then I was with Oblivion. There are a ton of side quests I got a good 390 points from playing just the main quest and a few side quest. The graphics aren't the best but are still ever good, They do look a lot better then Oblivion's graphics and I think both games are running off the same engine. Starting off the game plays like a decent shooter but after you learn how to use the V.A.T.S. the game starts to play a lot better. Although your going to be using V.A.T.S. the most your still going to need to shoot every now and again. Many other reviewers said that the third person mode is just to see your character I played most if not all of the game in third person, it's not that bad. I know many people say multiplayer makes a game but Fallout 3 proves otherwise. As I said Fallout 3 is one of the best WRPG's I've played and I have played Mass Effect and Kotor. If your a RPG nut you most likely already have this game but no matter who you are you have to a least play this game.

Lasting Appeal:
A fairly long main quest and a ton of side quest make Fallout 3 a long ass game.

Sound:
Great soundtrack and some really fun songs.

Story:
A great well-written story with a few clever twist and turns.

Graphics:
Not great graphic, but still really good graphics.

Gameplay:
Fun gameplay with an clever gamplay addition in the form of the V.A.T.S.

Multiplayer:
Fallout 3 doesn't have multiplayer, but it doesn't need it.

Overall Score:
If could give it six stars I would, go out and buy it.
