Was it fun gaming experience?
-Yes-
----What I liked----
- The Story
-I was engaged the whole time
- The Tutorials
-Don't be scared of this game, Valve gets you thinking with Portals with great Tutorial rooms
- The Mechanics
-The Portal gun works just like you want it to, along with the physics.
- The Script / Voice Work
-Wheatley is a great character
- Co Op
-You get to prove to your friend how much smarter you are.
- Sense of Discovery
-Traveling through the bowels Aperture Labs with the Portal Gun feels like your breaking the game Valve designed for you.
- Free DLC
-Although not known at launch, free levels is great fan support from Valve.
----- What needs to be changed (Possible DLC)------
- I need more challenge
-Most puzzles only require to think 2 or 3 steps ahead. I want to be thinking 6 or 7 steps ahead, with constant turret fire and bottomless pits. I blame Super Meat Boy.
- Less Load Times
-Every elevator ride is a load time
- More Hidden Areas
-Finding the hidden areas in games is my favorite part. Sadly they were few and far between, and easy to find.
-----TIPS-----
-Take breaks
-There is a Valve intended way to finish rooms, and a crazy, take advantage of the physics, way to finish rooms. Valve's way is easier but not necessarily as satisfying.
