We all have those games that tug at our heartstrings for whatever reason. I guess IQ has a place in my heart because no matter how much I play it I just can't get enough of it.
You are an un-named man in a suit that kind of looks like it belongs to an insurance salesman. Your only quest in life is to destroy all light grey and green blocks that are rolling to you using bombs. Now they're not bombs in your normal video game sense, it's just lighting up a square and triggering the destruction of the block that rolls onto the square. Like Tetris in a way, the level tries to push you to the brink and it's your job to destroy all the blocks (except the black ones) before you're pushed on the edge.
Now if you destroy a black block you will actually lose a row of ground that you're able to stand on. So try to avoid those at all costs. Now that I wrote this out I realize that there's nothing to this game really. Just another example of someone with a simple idea can inflict such a following that would warrant paying 50 bones for a 6 year old game.
I bought this game when it first released and played with it for a couple months then sold it. In about 2003 a friend of mine mentioned this game and I went on the search to re-buy it. Ofcourse, nowhere to be found except on E-Bay for over 50 dollars. Well into the PS2 generation a PS1 game was selling for over 50 bucks? What?!
Well, I went for it and it's been worth every penny. I must play it at the very least once per week. Definitely a must buy.
