With next to no combat, The Forgotten City leans heavily on a story that any history buff should love. You'll want to immerse yourself in this Roman city and explore the lore as thoroughly as possible. The roguelike element of the game nearly breaks the fourth wall at times, as NPCs don't remember you but are shocked that you know so much about them as soon as you meet them; it's like a Dan Carlin's Hardcore History take on an interactive Groundhog Day. An absolutely brilliant experience that I wish was more available in gaming.
