This game blew me away in terms of atmosphere and tension. More than any subsequent Alien movie it captures the paranoia and dread of lurking around a ship like the Nostromo. The Alien AI is super smart and difficult, but fair. You'll never have the same encounter outside of a few scripted moments. It is a very long game, but there's very little backtracking. Despite the length, I felt the pacing was great.
