Xenosaga II is the apitamy of the Xeno series - overly ambitious for its own good. The cutscenes want to do more than the animation can do. The game tries to take turn based combat in a new direction, but probably just makes it more complex than it needs to be. An interesting time capsule of what where JRPGs were in the dawn of 3d era.
