Really is a masterpiece. It is nowhere near a perfect game, in fact it has numerous flaws, which I could discuss (notoriously the pacing of the Epilogues). However, to dwell on problems misses the astounding achievement of RDR2. While I don't agree with every decision made in the game, it is clear that everything was done deliberately and in service to the art of the game. I will note that when I first started this game, some 7 years ago, it really did not grab me. About a year ago I started playing it in a slower way, savoring the fully realized world that was created. When I stopped trying to fight against the pacing and embraced the world, I came to realize the achievement that is Red Dead Redemption 2.
