This game was made based on my love for the gameplay of the original Mario Golf on the GBC, with some additions from the gameplay of other golf games like Golf Story. I do wish I had been able to include a story mode similar to my inspirations. I still love it though!
I've been following Gaint Bomb since it's launch in 2008 when I was only 18 years old. When Golf Week, shockingly a week where they would play only golf games, was announced at Giant Bomb I was excited. I took a page from Dan Ryckert, and decided the worst they could say is no. I took the chance and e-mailed them about playing my game during Golf Week. To my surprise, and great honour, Mike Minotti played it on M.E.G.A.M.A.N. If I told my 18-year-old self that Giant Bomb played a game I made on stream, he would not believe it. It was a dream come true.
