Destiny is a game i wasn't really paying that much attention to. That was until i played the beta. It's been some time since i last played an fps game(i stopped after COD MW2) it just got pointless to me, primarily because i got a son four years ago, so when i played games i just wanted them to tell a story, not be overly long and not an endless grind. Back to the game, i got a beta key for destiny on the PS3. And i was having such a good time, just doing the missions, the first strike, a glimpse of the moon, and the crucible. It just instantly hit me, this was the game i was missing, a shooter where it wasn't just about the shooting, but also the loot, quest's, PvP, and of course raids.. At that point i preordered the game. and man. The beta seemed like this game had so much potential, but the things you are doing in the beta is exactly the same you are going to do for the whole part of the game, the quest's are insanely repetitive, go there, shoot some fallen, press square to get your ghost aka Peter Dinklage, aka the most annoying robot friend, his voice acting is extremely boring, he has no enthusiasm at all - to analyze something, hold off some enemies, mission complete = repeat. EVERY mission. But then again, since Bungie has already described the game as an MMOFPS i thought that atleast the online would be fun, Crucible is fun, kinda like a mix of CoD and Titanfall, but then i would rather play the others. Then the fact that there isn't any matchmaking besides Strikes, that was the thing that put me off the game, because while it is fun to play with a friend or two, playing through the missions alone just felt really dull. I am still looking forward to see where Bungie decides to take the game in the future, but for now my Destiny experience is over..
