I knew Dear Esther would be weird, but I didn't know what it would turn out to be. The vagueness of the story is intriguing. The subtle things like shadowy figures on mountains really makes this special. When it ended, I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's unique and wonderful. Just don't expect it to be like anything else you've played.

The best part was that after playing through it again with some semi-random changes, my interpretation of the story changed. I think a third play through would add even another layer.
