I’m a big fan of the two PS2-era sequels to this game. So much so that I wrote this original one off for a long time due to the ways it doesn’t measure up to its sequels. But honestly, it’s still a pretty strong game! Not as good as what comes after, sure. But I just like the way this game feels to play and its humor and aesthetic as well.
It’s a totally mindless story campaign with equally silly challenges if you’re looking for more single player post-campaign. The multiplayer is strong for the era and still fun to me today.
My favorite PS2 launch game!
