I absolutely love the mechanics of this top down space-shooter. There's many game types from capture the flag to elimination and players can play solo or as part of a group. Really one of the original shooter-MMORPGs and a great place to spend time. There's still a client in use today called continuum which will connect to what remaining servers are running. This game defined my childhood and was one of the greatest simulation shooters available in the late '90s. Although the audience has dwindled, they're still clients available that will allow you to play this game. Check out continuum and begin blasting your enemies sometime soon!
This game defined my childood gaming career. I spent hours and hours playing both deathmatch and capture the flag in this amazing shooter. Although the audience has waned there are still clients, namely continuum, that allow you to connect to subspace servers. Check it out if you're looking for something fun on your downtime!
