Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock2007

4 out of 5 stars

OK, so this game doesn't have very good sound quality and there seems to be no patch to fix it, the graphics aren't quite as crisp as the 360, and the down-loadable content we were promised is sadly lacking. But that doesn't mean this is a disastrous game. No indeed! Guitar Hero 3 sounds fine on my TV. I don't have a awesome gaming set up, just a 17" flat screen LCD, but the sound coming from it is pretty good, and…

Medal of Honor: Heroes 22007

4 out of 5 stars

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is the best FPS on the Wii at this time. Fact. However, that doesn't necessarily make it a all round great game. It's shining glory is its online multiplayer, which forgoes Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection system in place of EA Nation. This system is more akin to what you expect to see on an PC online FPS, providing a lobby, simplistic messaging system and player rankings based on kill ratios.…

No More Heroes2007

4 out of 5 stars

First thing first, No More Heroes is an awesome game. The gameplay is great, the violence is just right and the comedy dialogue will have you in stiches in no time at all. It really does suck you in and keep you playing for the duration. Also the additional collectables that you can earn in the second run through does allow for some replayablity. However, there are some noticeable flaws which let the game down a…

God of War: Chains of Olympus2008

3 out of 5 stars

God of War is possibly the best game on the PSP. You will hear this a lot from many of the reviewers out there. It certainly pushes the PSPs graphics capability, and is one of the nicest looking games out on a handheld at the moment. However, many of the gameplay mechanics are the same as previous God of War games. You are unlikely to see anything new here. But the button mashing extravaganza won't bore you,…

Patapon2007

4 out of 5 stars

I bought this game after finishing God of War: Chains of Olympus in a ridiculous time, and was looking for something to entertain me on the journey to and from work. To be perfectly honest, this game has provided that and so much more. The aim of the story is to lead the Patapon tribe to IT, whatever that is, which lies at Earthend. On the way you'll be smashing up some angry bosses, fending off the Zigatons, as…

Eternal Sonata2007

5 out of 5 stars

Eternal Sonata is a Japanese roleplaying game of the Xbox 360, which is simply adorable. It plays in a similar way to many other games in the genre, but adds a few new twists in terms of it combat system, bringing a breath of fresh air. Firstly the design of the game is very similar to Japanese anime - cute characters, bright and beautiful backdrops, and the usual silly comic moments are all thrown into the mix. The…
