Graphics
The devastation graphics are somewhat unequal, but nice overall, the environments and the weapons are well made, the environments are detailed, the level design is sometimes good and some other times not great, most places looks like what they are supposed to be, but they are practically desert, there is only a few rats and our enemies. There is a few defects regarding the textures because some of them aren't great but there is only some of them. The animations are correct but the character modelization sounds to be uninspired, we incarnate the guy in the cover but I think they could choose a better model than Eminem ...
Gameplay
The gameplay is divided in two parts, one where we have to go from place to place which is more like a classic FPS and a second part, the most pleasant in my opinion who is similar to the assault mode from Unreal Tournamant, in this part we have to conquest the enemy base while protecting our base, and of course the goal is to destroy the respawn device of the enemy team. The shooting is quite classic, brutal and efficient. While there is a lot of weapons, there is a lot of doubles (the hand guns and the SMGs are full of doubles) and even a lack of certain weapon categories like rocket and grenade launchers, and even the hand grenades are very rare through the game so rare that often we don't use them. Two weapons in this game are probably refreshing, there is the laser rifle and the fun Rat Drone, probably the best thing of the game.In therms of difficulty settings we have also the possibility to play more realistically with a restricted inventory or in an old school fashion by having the possibility to have all the weapons.
While the gameplay is somewhat good there is some bad points, primarily the AI, the AI was poorly programmed, and reacts strangely, sometimes the AI is unable to see us or act like if they have a great difficulty to spot us, an when we are in combat it stands and shoot on us waiting we place a deadly bullet between their eyes.
Some other times it can spot us from very far, and the most strange reaction is the fact they run and jum like bunnies. Some people might find the AI too easy to flank because most of the times it doesn't react, but while the AI is very perfectible, their accuracy is difficult to match.
One of the other great features of the game it's the fact we can give orders to our teammates but since the AI is a bad point of the game, the feature adds some frustration much more than pleasure, their bad ability to obey to the order stand, is frustrating because in some delicate situations we have to go back far from the problem, tell them to stand and deal with the dangerous problem. Hopefully we have to do this only at the first part of the game since when we don't have the respawn machines their death is an automatic failure.
The level architecture is average, while in some levels there is some alternate paths, most of them resembles a lot to a corridor whene we have to kill the same enemies.
While the single player is only average, the multiplayer in an other hand is nice, there is enough modes to play but the lack of servers and people playing this game doesn't allow to play often.
