Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a 2D adventure game from Ubisoft Montpellier. It is one of the few games set in World War I and one of the few war games to focus on puzzle solving rather than combat. The game follows three characters as he war takes them in different directions and occasionally brings them together. Their stories have their ups and downs but, aside from the ending, they aren't gripping. It's not always consistent in its execution but it gets points for striving for something different.
