The first time I played Killzone was at a friends house, When I noticed it when I was a little bored in their house so I asked if I can play on their PS2 and they said ok and I tried Killzone. It has flaws, but it's a functional shooter.

The story and art design was mostly the unique thing in the game. Though, the story is a little like World War 1 and 2.

The gameplay was good. It involves you shooting hostile Helghast soldiers, tanks, flying war machines and etc mostly. And you can work as each 4 chracters. You can play either Cpt. Jan Templar, Sgt. Rico Velasquez, Gregor Hakha and Shadow Marshal Luger. The melee attacks are great when you either use a knife or hit them with your gun. The weapons are greatly designed but the feel of them are not clearly the best of all. The single-player gameplay is rather a little bland but still good.

The most of the problems are basically frame-rate issues and jumpy controls.

Graphics are good but has alot of glitches that keeps the game down. The stability is also buggy a little in which ragdolls get wierd and the A.I. as well but they aren't a big problem. The environments are pretty cool too.

The game is worth renting, but if your a fan of all shooters, this is your money's worth.
