Bass Pro Shops The Strike may be onto something with this game, but they don't quite get it 100% yet. The controller is by far the best fishing controller i have ever used but they game play can get pretty repetitive. The graphics are also something that is lacking a bit on a next-gen console. When you win tournaments you earn money which can be used to upgrade your equipment. These upgrades actually seem to work very well. There is also a nice feature that you can choose to view underwater (similar to sega bass fishing) or make it a little more real and to above water. Both work pretty well and its nice to see the designers creating a game for both armature and novice fishermen. Again, if you like fishing this game is worth the money but you need to keep it in perspective. Don't go into it expecting Gears of War 2 graphics or anything like that, this is a fishing game that performs well but looks mediocre at best. I do believe this is a solid foundation for the developers to work on, just a few tweaks and upgraded graphics and you would be looking at the best fishing game of all time.
