Random Duke quotes beside, this is not a very good game. However, the legendary story of the making of this game makes the mere presence of this title a must have. It's taken 14 years for it to come out, and anyone who thought it would be an amazing be-all-to-end-all was just fooling themselves. Its not unplayable by any sense of the term and Gearbox did an amazing job just getting it published. As the final product of over a decade of issues, developer closures, massive hype, and its ability to drag the mentality of the 90's shooter into the 2010's makes this game (even from just a historical curiosity) something that needs to be seen (if you can get it cheap, dirt cheap).
And slap some wall boobs. Yeah you heard me.
