Just like it’s prequel, this game is absolutely the worst in the series thus far. This game feels exactly the same compared to the original, and is just as repetitive, the only difference is replace all the characters with Shadow, one of the most boring, but yet fan-favorite, characters of the franchise. Overall, a useless addition to the main storyline, and serves little-to-no purpose whatsoever. The only reason you should play this prequel is if you like Shadow.
Additionally, it gives us one of the most poor villain backstories of all-time, which is Infinite the Jackal. Infinite is one of my least favorite video game characters to date, and this backstory ultimately ruins his character. We now see the intimidating piece of garbage as a worthless crybaby who throws temper-tantrums like a baby.
