As someone who played the crap out of Devil May Cry 1 and 2, Bayonetta was easy to pick up and play, it brought back nostalgia for this style of game, and I have wished to see it grow out of the DMC series, Bayonetta delivers my hopes, and then some.
Forget how ridiculous the story is, the crisp 60fps on the 360 make it one of the better looking game out there, along with the graphics. It's not a hard game to pick up and play (however if you want to 1000/1000 it, you might need to take some time to better acquaint yourself to the controls, I know my first few hours of playing it, i had a claw hand thing going (nothing a good day to relax wont help)
For some reason, I was compelled to finish the game, do everything, get everything, see everything... It's been one of the few games that I actually did that with, and It added more replay value just to do it ( i think I played thru the game about 3-4 times)
Overall, if you liked how Devil May Cry played, pick this up, I honestly think this franchise will be better in the long run.
